OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Enterprise, the business-focused tier of its AI chatbot service. Developed over under a year with input from more than 20 companies, the ChatGPT Enterprise offers GPT-4 access with unlimited usage, up to twice the speed of previous versions, and API credits. While pricing depends on individual use cases and company sizes, initial beta users included companies like Block, Canva, and The Estée Lauder Cos. Unlike the consumer version, ChatGPT Enterprise allows clients to train and customize the chatbot using their own industry data. OpenAI plans to release a ChatGPT Business tier for smaller teams in the future. The enterprise version’s launch coincides with the competitive landscape of AI chatbot development, including efforts by Microsoft, Google, and Anthropic. OpenAI emphasizes data privacy and aggregation of usage information while aiming to onboard numerous enterprises in the coming weeks.
